Hozo Pedestal Bed (Base and Headboard)

Inspired by the popular Thuma bed, our sturdy, freestanding, and sleek bed is assembled using Japanese Wood Joinery. Mortises or grooves called ‘hozo’ are carved into the wood to join two boards in a blind joint that’s not visible from the surface. 

The bed frame has a low profile and sits 13” off the floor.

Also available with a Knotty headboard as a design option as seen in photograph.

With 16 slats for maximum support, a foundation/box spring is not necessary.
