    The shelf depth is 11.5". The shelves are adjustable and can be set at any desired height.

  • Hi, are the shelves and frame solid wood? What is the total weight of a single unit (96"H)? Can they be placed side-by-side without a gap? Also, could we please get a sample of the Auburn Alder and the Cherry Alder to match with our other furniture? I can provide shipping address.

    The shelves are made out of 3/4" plywood and solid shelf fronts. The total weight of a 96" high bookcase is about 75 pounds. Yes, you can put them side to side and they will sit flush.     All the shelves are adjustable on the shorter bookcases.
    72"H-96"H have one fixed shelf at 30"H for stability.
    We ship our furniture fully assembled via freight carriers.
