To control quality, every piece is manufactured on-site. Exposed shelves have solid front moldings. Our multi-step sanding process ensures a consistent surface for finishing. I am thinking of buying two 96” Forest Designs Mission Oak Bookcase: 30W x 13D. Please clarify the material. Is the front, sides and shelving solid oak, in its natural state? What is the backing made of?
We use only premium quality solids and veneers. No particle board! The bookcase body is made with Birch Plywood and Oak veneer. The shelves are plywood with Oak veneers and solid Oak molding.
